Through many years this acclaimed Miami based executive has produced, remixed, and licensed tracks for labels such as Ministry of Sound UK, Universal Music Latino (Mexico and Brazil Divisions), Basswalk Records USA, Basswalk Latino USA and Colombia, Bad Barbie Records, CR2 Records UK, Ruffloaderz UK, King of Ibiza, Tommy Boy Records NYC, Vale Music Spain, Brahma Beats Brazil, Brazil Deluxe, Oid Mortales Argentina, Shock Magazine – El Espectador Colombia, Cuepoint Records Germany, and Space & Sound Italy.
Through his former club; “La Sala” they won the award for the “Best Club in Bogota” in 2002 at the Shock Magazine Awards in Colombia. He also released with them two promotional albums where 50,000 copies were distributed for the magazine’s 12th Anniversary. He has remixed names like Estefano, Carlinhos Brown, and Juanes to infamous tracks like; “A Media Vida”, “Bocarriba”, and “La Camisa Negra”.
Moreover, his tracks have been signed to more than 20 compilations, 1 short film, and 2 TV projects, 10 albums in total, where 5 of them he went solo. He released this summer through Basswalk Records the 6th edition of the continuous mixed cd for the Bora Bora Ibiza exclusive summer compilation. He is returning this year to the decks after a 4-year break to his usual summer residency. Moreover, he has also played in several clubs in the white isle including; Es Paradis, Blue Marlin, and Sankeys.
Recalling his dj life; during WMC 2004, Cooljunkie charted his anthem “Wicked Fortress (Chus & Ceballos Remix)” as #1 and “Falling in Love with Music (Angel Moraes Remix)” as # 7. Toby, also has headlined the most awarded electronic music event in the world; the UMF Miami editions 4, 5, 6, where he exclusively held his own tent for his respected label Basswalk Records.
He has also played prime time at nightclubs and special events in Mexico, USA, Colombia, Israel, Spain, Costa Rica, Thailand, Malaysia, India, Croatia, Bahrain, South Korea, Italy, Argentina, Holland, Germany, Nepal, Slovenia, UK, Switzerland, Puerto Rico, Serbia, and Chile.
Furthermore, Toby started a band called Monsieur Job where he has released the first single “Chow Chow eyyy Pow Pow” this past October to the distributor Fuga in Holland. The whole album “Bass Passi” to hit stores next year.
